Apply Now for $50,000 Grant Funding from California Jobs First

We're pleased to share an exciting funding opportunity with you! California Jobs First Los Angeles Collaborative is releasing grant funding for community-based organizations (CBOs) in Los Angeles County. One Los Angeles County-based organization will be awarded $50,000 in funding to serve as the role of Affinity Hub Lead for Financial Strategies.
The Table Partner Lead selected for this seat will be a regional non-profit with experience in securing funding through pairing multiple initiatives into one or more potential projects. In the case of California Jobs First, a projected award to the Los Angeles County region from the remaining California Jobs First funds could be braided with other federal and state funding opportunities such as Governor Newsom’s N-16-22 executive order, the CARB Scoping Plan, the EO N-82-20 Land, and Water Protection climate initiative, the EO N-19-19 Climate Agenda, the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, Career Pathway and Training proposed funds from Executive Order N-11-23, as well as tax credits, philanthropic sources, and other, suggested funding opportunities. The awarded table lead will have the ability to understand the resources needed in each proposed pilot project and be able to pair funding solutions to each relevant project.

  • Allocation: One organization based in Los Angeles County will be selected and awarded $50,000 to become a Table Partner Lead for Financial Strategies for the Los Angeles Jobs First Collaborative.
  • Experience: Must have extensive experience in navigating various funding sources and programs and existing relationships with underserved populations. Must be able to serve county-wide.

Eligibility Criteria:
  1. Non-profit or community-based organizations based and serving Los Angeles County.
  2. Fully onboarded partners of the LA-HRTC; If your organization is not onboarded, you will be directed to the onboarding form after answering "No" to "Are you an LA HRTC Partner" below and may complete your application after onboarding. (Onboarding takes approximately 8 minutes) 
  3. Must have extensive experience in navigating various funding sources and programs and existing relationships with underserved populations. Must be able to serve county-wide.
  4. Organizations should have no conflicts of interest and be able to fulfill the contract without bias. 
  5. The entity must be in good standing, i.e. has not been suspended or debarred, is not covered by a prohibition or restriction, or is not otherwise excluded from doing business with the government.
